Through With Working?
Just because you’ve “retired” doesn’t necessarily mean your working days are completely behind you.
Quite the opposite.
Some people find the need to re-enter the workforce after traditional retirement. Others discover a talent or passion they didn’t even know they had, after many years of working in a completely unrelated area.
And still others look at their post-career years as their chance to start doing what they really wanted to do all along.
Did You Know?
According to a recent Bureau of Labor Statistics study:
- More people are turning retirement into a “process,” leaving full-time careers for “bridge jobs” that are less intensive, working fewer hours per week or fewer weeks per year.
- Among those employed full-time after age 50, who subsequently retired, 61% of men and 60% of women moved to another job before retiring completely. In many cases, people also switched careers at the same time.
- Slightly more than half of these "bridge jobs" were part-time positions.
No matter the reason, it’s never too late to find that perfect job – one that gives you greater security, enjoyment or sense of accomplishment!
People do it every day. You can too, and we can help.
